Ada kept a calendar she almost stopped opening. The boxes filled with ordinary Tuesdays. No letter. No yes. No sudden miracle.
What grew anyway
She learned to read Psalm 27:14 out loud. She learned that Isaiah 40:31 was not a slogan. Waiting became a place she could stand, not a hallway she had to flee.
When the answer finally moved, it found her already rooted. John 16:33 had been telling the truth the whole time.
